2 weeks sleeps update

Well Fellas,

just 2 weeks from today and it’s time to depart for the equivalent of the Quebexican SuperBowl at PEPS stadium... home of the Canadian Football Factory called Universite de Laval.... Land of bountiful Poutine, the best tailgating in Canada, serious Frenchie football fans, and stimulating scenery... I for one, am very much looking forward to this year. I haven’t had poutine in 3 months and am looking forward to that and the lobby wine machine. We have a great gang heading up and if you can’t have fun in QC then you are ready for pasture. A couple of additional things to look forward to this year;

• One of last year’s outstanding rookies (Edgy Edgerton) received his GoC Bilingual certificate this year. Adam now has some real backup to converse with the locals and French media..(although I have received compliments on my own “brand” of Quebexican).
• We have a couple strong rookie of the year contenders in Robby “Bert” Rivington and Whitey White (Chad). Both bring a little something different to the mix but they both better bring their “A” game. May the best man win the coveted title for 2013.
• J-Rock has managed to go 4 months without having any hernia surgeries, colon removals or scalper beatings. He is in good game shape for this year,....intestinally speaking.
• Towny has been practicing how to order the entire McDonalds menu in French.= “Je vais avoir tout sur le menu. Tenez le poisson!”
• Robert  “O...as in Oh my God, it’s Robert Loggia” Loggia will be on tour with us again
• Tommy “2 Guns” Kohls has been training to stay up past 11 PM and vows not to ghost out on both nights. In the last 2 months he has been to Myrtle beach and an NFL football trip and he is on the Vanier tour for the Trifecta.
• IT Loney has upgraded his phone and recording devices so his dirty pics and videos will be available to us n the highest definition possible
• TO Mayor Rob Ford has asked if he can catch a lift and party with us for the weekend. I guess he has a meeting with Laval’s ex mayor Gilles Vaillancourt. “Fordy” says he’ll bring the crack and some Cheetos for the bus. “Did I have a couple of beers? • Safety Kev has repaired his Satchel so the children of Laval are looking forward to Rummy Santa handing out candy canes at the game. Kev, keep that police check on your person.
• We have been invited to the Quebec City VIP release party for a new line of clothing called “Under Armour Evening Wear”. After 4 years of beta testing by Matt “Baskin” Robbins, the clothing giant has decided to go ahead with the concept and release across NA starting in Quebec. Congratulations Matt...we are proud of you. Another Laurier graduate blazes the trail for others to follow. WE can’t wait to see your next fashion vision. Hint... Lulu Business wear Line??
• Although “White” Lincoln Jeffries can’t join us this year, Dark M’arcy, MMMmmmm, Skinny Mac and the rest of the Fitzroy gang have committed to picking up the slack. That’s 30 pints Labatt 50’s each that you will need to absorb in addition to your own intake. Skinny, I heard they recently painted the halls at the hotel and they were hoping you could test it and perhaps sleep in the areas that are still drying. You will be provided proper signage.
• D-Ball Birrell has been working in Fort McMurray for the last 6 months. I am a little afraid about releasing him into a metropolitan center. Luckily Spencer Spence has been working out steady and should be able to contain him. Congrats Spence on completing Greco lean and Fit, Tai Bo and your P-90X this month. Spencer has a side project he plans to unveil to the fitness world called P-69-Triple ex. That paired with my invention “Broga” are sure to be the next fitness craze
• Shawzy Shaw will be not be on the bus and will flying in on a leer jet as per usual. As an aside, he is contemplating a legal name change either just going by “Z” , or the artist formerly known as Prince or coming up with a Symbol for his name like Prince...   , or whatever
• Adam has been growing his ‘stache for Movember and has an eerie resemblance to Wolverine. He will need mutant strength as he is going for a 10^th consecutive year where he has saved my life in some fashion during Vanier weekend. Good luck to us both....

1- Time to start thinking about supplies such as;

• Santa suit and rum-stained beard (Cdn Tire if you need a new one but now is the time they start selling out of them)
• Suppliers for candy cane shooters (recipe below)
• Snacks for bus
• Extra underpants
• Shooter glasses to bring to game

Here is the recipe for the shooters we serve up off the Ironing board to our fellow fans;

Candy Cane Shooter

1/2 oz Grenadine
1/2 oz Crème De Menthe
1/2 oz Peppermint Schnapps
Layer in that order in a Shooter glass.

3- In case you were actually interested in the football part...there were the last regular season rankings going but we are now down to 8 teams. Let’s hope that Queen’s makes it in and we can reunite with the Queen’s band and the Vanier Pere Noels will get piped into the stadium again like in 2010
