67 Sleeps update
Well, the 50th Vanier Cup is a mere 67 days away.
Chief organizer / President for Life, Kenny G asked me to
send out this special bulletin with updates on the event November 28-30 in
Montreal. Note for those of us in from the beginning, it is our 20th
anniversary tour. Good times.

Executive Meeting. Here is some further info.
1) Tickets:
We have 26 tickets purchased for the event. They are $30 each if you haven’t
paid up yet. If you are getting this email I have you on the list for a ticket.
2) Transportation:
Preferred method of transportation for the Ottawa contingent is VIA Rail. Buy
online here. An executive decision has
been made that the preferred departure time is Friday November 28 at 9:55 am
from Ottawa and return train on Sunday November 30 at 12:50 pm from Montreal.
Current price for a round trip ticket is under $75. I recommend you purchase
now. You could wait for a sale, but it you would hate to miss the train with
the rest of us wouldn’t you? Once you get your ticket confirmed, email me your
confirmation number and I will get us all sitting close together.
3) Hotel:
Commander Landers has a deal for us at Hilton Garden Inn Downtown in Montreal
at a group rate of $135 a night (normally about $190). He needs us to
book rooms in order to ensure we keep this good rate, so figure out who you are
rooming with and book a room soon please. Note that the website actually
defaults to staying over on the Thursday, so you probably want to ensure that
you are starting your booking for Friday night. Here is the info:
