Nice hair, and nice diaper

Kenny G met a couple of Laurier fans at Slainte pre-game... next thing you know his new friend Sue has purple hair, courtesy of the Purple Pimp. He husband reportedly asked as she went outside to get her hair fixed up "Should I trust her with that guy?". The answer, is clearly "no".

On the ride down, all riders in the SUV had to take precautions since there beverages to be had but there were no facilities on board. So what do you do to prevent accidents en route? That "DEPENDS" - IT Loney appears to have an idea as per the picture below.

Bafana Ncwana, Vanier Cup road tour rookie, set a new record - first ever Rookie to actually miss the game! Congrats Buff, it's quite the accomplishment.

Two Road Tour vets and a rookie enjoy a beverage in the high class Ramada bar. Mike "Leisure" Dahle who jetted home from a Dominican Vacation to make the game, as well as Lee F. Quinney supplier of these photos, as well as the G-Spot enjoy a pint.

Clearly, the most handsome dude ever to win the Rookie of the Year honours....Keith Walthers. Gotta admit though he had a pretty impressive penn-issss.

To quote G: "This is a street person we took in off the street and brought to the game. He later died. At least he had a few hours of fun." Or wait....maybe this is 2004 Rookie of the Year Donny Bohonos?

We made it to Hamilton TV

We actually made it on Hamilton "CH - TV". Following is a report from Commander Landers about the piece on the Sunday news:

For those of you who may not have watched the CHCH Channel 11 news last night I thought that I would give you a summary. They started off talking about the impact that the Vanier Cup had on the City of Hamilton. Organizers were pleased with the game but fell short of their goal of 20,000 spectators. They then went on to interview some of the fans at the game. Started off with Dirty Don aka Laurier Super Fan, then went to a cheesy Saskatchewan fan, then The Purple Pimp, Kenny G, talked about how kind and hospitable the City of Hamilton was to the fans, everyone except that lovely bouncer that kept cutting him off at the bar. Then they talked to Australian Darren about coming all the way from Sydney for the game, with Jup (Wheat Kings) Canivet jumping around in the background. Last but not least was a shot of "The Earmuff Girls" sitting on someone's lap. All in all a very good showing by our group in the clip. The City of Hamilton can't wait to have us back in 2008. What is Saskatoon going to think next year?
I have sent the fine people at CH an email and hopefully they will send us the clip.
