it’s game on in Quebec City for Vanier on Nov 23-25!!!!  Soooo happy to have Vanier back in the best host city ever for Vanier Cup… they have a tailgate that beats most NFL games. You are on this list because you deserve to have a great weekend with great friends. Bus and hotel are lined up.  The Executive met tonight and it’s full steam ahead… and there is good news on all fronts;

 

• The Vanier Pere-Noels return to Le Belle Province! I have the ironing board from the last QC trip.
• Our favourite hotel, (Hotel Chateau Laurier) has not revamped the rooms and they have not just our one…but 4 wine machines now! I have no doubt that our positive Trip Advisor reviews, touting the merits of the “automated wine disbursement system”, were the inspiration for more machines! • Game Tickets will be cheap but have not been released yet. As always, Quebexican stadium liquor laws are more lenient than Jamaica. Ie. Jerred: “6 Bud Light pls… leave the ring, Merci ”
• We are upping our tailgate game… in addition to crowd-fave legendary candy cane shooters, we will have some new food and refreshment options. (Please await press release)
• Darin has found a steak house for our traditional Friday “slack night” dinner …. when translated, their motto says “ Immense Good” …. I think that sums it up. Of course if there are still many alternative options including the delightful St. Hubert attached to our hotel.
