By popular request, some of the best pics of the 2007 Vanier Cup / Grey Cup double bubble.

J-Rock attempts to ease the pain of his beat down by copious use of booze. Jerred was the first ever Vanier Cup Road Tour participant to get beat up by some scalpers - over approximately $2.50 per ticket. Worth it? J-Rock think so.

Even the cops in T.O. wanted to meet the fake Don Cherry. This officer, a credit to the force, interviewed Jerred about the scalper beat down, then met us later with "Don" in tow and had a photo taken.

Allow me to set the scene. The Maxim Party, atop the CN Tower, with Maxim girls dancing, free booze and complimentary eats. What's a guy to do when he gets a 'ger on and the meat has all been eaten up? Why not fire up the meat saw and cut up some fresh salami! This photo of Dave taken minutes before the cook came over and gave us hell "That's not funny man, that's not funny". I beg to differ, I found it hilarious at the time!

Rookie of the Year Andre at the Maxim party. I think the photo confirms that Andre enjoyed his first foray into the Vanier Cup Annual Debacle.

At the Great Big Sea / Barenaked Ladies show which we sneaked into (how exactly does a fake Don Cherry sneak in anywhere? but anyway), there were some lovely "referees", interestingly all wearing "soixante-neuf" as their number. They were more than happy to pose for a photo with "Ron and Don".

"Coach's Corner" at East Side Mario's where "Ron and Don" held court before the Grey Cup. There must have been 20+ people that came over to meet the fake Don Cherry. One guy grabs his cell phone, phones home to Sask and says "Hey, I want you guys to talk to my friend Don" and Kenny puts on his best DC impression. Then, there was the guy crossing Front Street that happened to look into East Sides and see the fake Don C. You shoulda seen him pointing and laughing. Truly priceless!

More celebs

Oh yeah, we met lots of "celebs". Some photographic evidence follows.

At the Maxim Party, we met Jock Climie, former CFLer and current TSN analyst. Kenny shows off his bowling ring (or his rye) on the bottom, while Dave and Adam meet Jock on the top. Not sure where the red wine and cigar came from seeing as I don't enjoy either of them.....

Kenny meets up with Gord Miller from TSN Hockey at the SkyDome er...Rogers Centre....before kick off at the Vanier Cup.

Kenny looks very impressed to meet Farley Flex from Canadian Idol. Perhaps a stint on reality TV is next for Kenny G?

Kenny meets Damon Allen, CFL future hall of famer and inspiration to anyone nearing or over 40. Not sure if Kenny is winking or is just really smashed.

Kenny with his Mr. T shirt meets up with Blake Marshall and Neil Lumsden, two former CFLers at the Argo's Party at the Convention Centre on Saturday.

As Adam, Kenny and Dave were leaving the Maxim Party, we met up with John Avery from the Argos, who wanted everyone to clear the way because an "At-leet" was "comin' tru".

"The Dirty File"

And now for something, I will call the "Dirty File". Without Dirty Don, why bother going to the Vanier Cup / Grey Cup Road Tour? He keeps things interesting!


In this picture, Dirty Don and Big Fun Rick accost an employee of the Loose Moose. This is shortly after Don woke up from his nap on Saturday afternoon - and thought it was Sunday morning! Yip, poor ol' Dirty thought he had slept through the entire evening and was ready for breakfast.

Dirty Don and Big Fun Rick (wearing the Dirty Don shirt from back in Vanier Road Tour 2001) meet up with someone patient enough to have their picture taken.

Dirty Don met his fair share of celebs too. Here he poses with Reggie Givens, former CFLer and former Carleton Place resident and Argos employee, Bunny Bryce.

The best for last - in this photo, Dirty Don dry humps some lady that was taking a picture (laying down on her back for some reason) under the giant inflatable football player at the Argo's Party. This potentially could be evidence in a pending lawsuit, but I'll post it anyway.
