The Maxim Players Party is being held Friday, November 23rd in the top of the CN Tower. It is an exclusive party featuring the Maxim Girls, CFL Cheerleaders, Celebrities and is being hosted by Trish Stratus.

The ticket is all inclusive with food and booze. (there will be 250 Maxim Models in attendance)

The dress is Urban chic - pretty much nightclub clothes. (jeans and dress shirt)

There is Red Carpet entrance and you and your guests will be escorted down with a Maxim Model dressed in a blackless tuxedo shirts and fedoras.

At the party, Maxim Hostesses serve a drink to each of your guests as you step off the elevator.
Their will be a full service bar, dance floor and shadow dancers will be on pedestals enclosed in microfabric cylinders. There is also a shoe shine station outside the men's room.

The food will feature a Make Your Own Pad Thai, Mini Deluxe Stadium Snacks, Steak 'N' Potato Mash Up, Sweet & Savoury Crepe Station and Passed Hor D'Oeuvres. Also, there will be 20 Coors Light Hostesses in silver dresses serving Coors Light.

There will be several different areas to hang out in. For example, the Maxim Bungalow Lounge (hostesses serving drinks in sarongs), the Football Simulator Game Challenge, the Zen Garden (hand massage, nail buffing), Maxim Shoot (get your picture on the cover of Maxim to take home with you) and Cigar Rolling (as a takeaway gift).

There will also be a Gibson Jam Session with members of Hinder and Thornley (former lead singer of Big Wreck) performing during the night.

These are not quite all of the details.

But I want to leave some room for surprise.

The tickets are $500 each.

It will be the Premier event of the Grey Cup Festival.

Hello Lads,

it is that time of year...the leaves have turned, there is frost on the pumpkin, AND...there are 30 sleeps till Vanier Cup!!! As part of the Vanier Executive Team, Adam and I met for lunch today to discuss the upcoming debacle of debauchery. As many of you know... there is usually a theme for each year's event. For this year, we have decided to focus the theme on Grey Cup...and that theme is "the Most Canadian costume you can think of "....use your imagination! I for one, plan on having something stupid enough to get me on TSN. As always there will be awards for best costume and rookie of the year. Good Luck to you all.

For Vanier, I will likely only wear my Laurier colours as They will Be in Vanier!! There will be more updates to come but in the meantime, here are some highlights and info Adam has come up with;

Playoffs start this weekend in Ontario. Guelph at Mac, Western at Queens. Laurier and Ottawa await the winners.

11:15am get to the train station in Ottawa so we can group up and ensure seats together 12:30pm Departure train from Ottawa to Toronto
12:35pm First pickled egg and pepperette eaten
12:37pm First fart
4:35pm Arrive at Union Station in Toronto
4:45pm Check into Novotel (45 The Esplanade, downtown TO, about a block from Union Station)
4:50pm Freshen up with a drink or two
5:30pm Quick snack somewhere on Front Street
7:30pm Vanier Cup game
10:30pm Dirty Don rushes the field to celebrate whatever team wins (warning: brush up on your French as it will likely be U de Laval)
11:00pm Free time to 'explore' Toronto

Saturday November 24
Free day in Toronto as you see fit. Might I suggest visiting the Art Gallery of Ontario, or perhaps a Museum or two? Alternatively, you could enjoy the Grey Cup village and drink yourself into a coma. It's up to you.

Sunday November 25
Morning / Afternoon: Various Grey Cup village activities, schedule to be determined.
3:00pm Start changing into official Grey Cup costumes. Theme to be determined.
4:00pm Gates open at the Rogers Centre (aka SkyDump)
5:30pm Opening ceremonies begin
6:00pm Kick off for the 95th Grey Cup
7:45pm Halftime performance by Lenny Kravitz, joined with special guest star Kenny G on drums
